Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How does All About Caring select and hire Support Workers?

We hire and employ Support Workers based on several factors including experience, location, and being a good match to the needs and preferences of the people they will be supporting. It is important that all staff we hire are reliable and have a genuine interest in working in this industry and providing a high standard of support. Due to the personal nature of this work factors such as age, gender, and cultural background are sometimes relevant to ensuring the worker is a good fit to the needs of the individual receiving support. For example, hiring a worker who speaks the same languages as the person they will be supporting ensures they are able to communicate effectively. We will discuss with each individual the specific needs and preferences that they have and select appropriate support workers to match these needs. Our team of support workers are as diverse as the individuals we support.
